City of Elizabeth issued the following announcement on Jan. 18.

The Water Treatment Plant will be starting it’s Chlorine Conversion on January 11, 2022 through February 17, 2022. The City of Elizabeth City will convert from Chloramines to Free Chlorine.  This is a standard water treatment practice to keep water mains clean and free of potentially harmful bacteria throughout the year!
