City of New Bern issued the following announcement on Nov. 12. 

Join the City of New Bern and the Redevelopment Commission for a community meeting to gather input on the Duffyfield Community Stormwater Enhancements & Park Project. Envisioned as a result of the City’s resiliency planning efforts, this project is a multi-phased stormwater infrastructure project intended to reduce the risk of flooding and provide community park space for recreation, gathering, and education.

When: Wednesday, November 17, 2021
Time: 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Location: City of New Bern Development Services, 303 First Street

City staff and members of the design team from WithersRavenel will be in attendance to present plans, address questions and receive input. Residents of the greater Duffyfield neighborhood, as well as citizens of New Bern, are encouraged to attend.
