City of New Bern issued the following announcement on Mar. 22.

Bring your used motor oil, lawn & garden fertilizer & pesticides, gasoline, paint thinner, cooking oil, anti-freeze, & old paint to Craven Community College THIS WEEKEND for the Household Hazardous Waste collection event.

As part of last year’s award from NC DEACS (Division of Environmental Assistance and Customer Service) we decided to double the number of HHW Events from 3 to 6.  Here are the dates and locations for the upcoming events.

Carteret County

September 24

Craven County
