CITY OF NEW BERN: Launched New Bern Alerts

City Of New Bern issued the following announcement on July 19.

The City of New Bern has launched New Bern Alerts, a free mass notification and emergency messaging platform powered by CivicReady. 

This software was created to offer users timely information in an emergency (such as during hurricanes) as well as meaningful updates from your choice of subscriber groups (like Summer Camps, City Events, Street Closures, etc.). 

Subscribers will receive weather alerts from the US National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City NC and other information from the City via text, email, or phone call – your choice.

 It’s super easy to sign up and you can opt out at any time. Visit www.newbernnc.gov/newbernalerts to create an account.
