City of Washington issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.

The City of Washington is updating its existing Comprehensive and CAMA Land Use Plans through community engagement. 

The CAMA Comprehensive Land Use Plan will be forward-thinking and will align with the City’s vision and goals. It will serve as a guide for elected and appointed officials making significant land use decisions, decisions which will impact the entire community. The development of this Plan will be driven by the community and will included the required elements of a CAMA Land Use Plan and include local elements that preserve community character.
