COUNTY OF CRAVEN: Elected new Officer To Serve On NCACC Board of Directors

County of Craven issued the following announcement on Dec. 17. 

Theron McCabe was elected by the Craven County Commissioners and the other Counties of District 3 (Carteret, Duplin, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pamlico and Wayne) to serve a 2 year term on the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC) Board of Directors.  

NCACC has 18 multi-county districts represented by directors elected to two-year terms, who also serve on the NCACC Board of Directors. The odd-numbered districts elect their representatives during the NCACC Annual Conference, which is held every August, in odd-numbered years. The even-numbered districts elect their representatives during the NCACC Annual Conference in even-numbered years.
