County of Craven issued the following announcement on May 25.

The proposed budget for fiscal year 2022-2023 for Craven County has been submitted to the governing board and is available for public inspection in the County Manager’s office at the Craven County Administration Building, 406 Craven Street, New Bern, on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  It is also viewable on the Craven County website at:  https://www.cravencountync.gov/

A public hearing on the FY22-23 Budget will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., or as close thereafter as possible, in the Commissioners’ Boardroom located on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building at 406 Craven Street, New Bern.  You may call 252-636-6600, ext. 1108 if you have any questions.

All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comments.
