County of Craven issued the following announcement on March 1.

Starting today at 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., flagging operations will be in place on the U.S. 70 Westbound service road (SR 1155) between Airport Road and Pender Street. 

The flagging operations will resume again during the evening from 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. 

Contractor crews will be installing water and sewer pipe as part of the U.S. 70 Improvements in James City Project.
