In a tweet posted on April 11, 2025, Congressman Davis highlighted a meeting with the Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce President, Cale Grady. He noted the importance of strengthening the local business community, acknowledging that “residents are working extremely hard on economic growth.”

Later on the same day, Congressman Davis shed light on the revitalization efforts underway in Kinston’s historic commercial district. Led by Leon Steele and the Downtown Kinston Revitalization, the initiative is providing the area with a fresh start. Congressman Davis expressed that “Their work is an excellent example of how partnerships can drive real economic progress.”

In another update shared on the afternoon of April 11, the Congressman announced the launch of the “Meeting Residents Where They Are” tour. This initiative will involve Congressman Davis traveling across his district over the next two weeks.
