On Friday, March 6, Rashod Smith, a former Washington High School standout, saw his current team, the NC Wesleyan Battling Bishops, defeated 76-52 by the Randolph-Macon Yellow Jackets in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest, the first tournament meeting between NC Wesleyan and the Yellow Jackets, was held at Crenshaw Gymnasium at 6:45 p.m.
