The satellite water billing office in South Mills will be closed from October 13 to 17, 2025. Customers can still drop off payments at the South Mills office, but these will be processed at the main office. Those who prefer to handle transactions in person are encouraged to visit the main office in Camden.
In other developments related to Camden County, recent data from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction shows that 23.2% of senior students and 29.2% of junior students in Camden County school districts were considered ready for college in the science portion of the ACT during the 2022-23 school year (https://www.dpi.nc.gov/). For the reading portion of the ACT, 34.7% of seniors and 46.9% of juniors met college readiness standards (https://www.dpi.nc.gov/).
