Craven County recently issued the following announcement.
6TH ANNUAL CRAVEN COUNTY VETERANS STAND-DOWN
The 6th Annual Craven County Veterans Stand-Down events will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 at West New Bern Recreation Center, 1225 Pinetree Drive in New Bern, and Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Cherry Point Baptist Church in Havelock, from 10 AM until 2 PM both days. The event is free and open to all Veterans, and includes services such as counseling, housing resources, legal aid, claims-filing, educational and employment opportunities, and much more. Please bring your DD-214 or VA card.
