44 percent of applicants to Mid-Atlantic Christian University were admitted for fall 2018

At Mid-Atlantic Christian University, 83 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Elizabeth City enrolled 196 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 8.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

50 percent of undergraduates are residents of North Carolina, and 45 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (57 percent) and Black or African American (29 percent).

The school admitted 44 percent of the 238 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 63 percent enrolled.
