Cost of college went up for all students at Mid-Atlantic Christian University

Tuition and fees rose 8.7 percent for 2018-19 at Mid-Atlantic Christian University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

North Carolina students paid $15,300 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,220 more than the $14,080 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 52 students received grants or scholarships totaling $573,225 and 34 students took out student loans totaling more than $185,513.

Including all undergraduates (196), 176 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.9 million, and 127 students took out $846,133 in federal student loans.
