Census Bureau: 76.3 percent of people in Hertford were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 2,321 citizens living in Hertford in 2019, 1,771 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 1,076 of those people were female and 695 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
