City of New Bern issued the following announcement on Aug. 4.
#nationalnightout2021 is being RESCHEDULED to August 11 & 12 due to the forecast for bad weather.

“National Night Out-Parade of Lights RESCHEDULED”
Due to the forecast for rain the NBPD has rescheduled it’s National Night Out dates. The “Parade of Lights” scheduled for today & tomorrow has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Aug 11th and Thursday, Aug 12th. The only thing that has changed for this event is the dates. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 11th & 12th!
