County of Bertie issued the following announcement on Aug. 11.
Like many other counties in NC and across the US, Bertie County now has a Substantial Level of Community Transmission of COVID-19.
CDC recommends everyone, whether vaccinated or unvaccintated, wear a mask while indoors to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others. Face masks are once again required to enter Bertie County Buildings. Curbside service is available for citizens who choose not to wear a mask.
