City of New Bern issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.
The 300 block of Pollock St will be closed for a few hours tomorrow morning so crews can bring in equipment & reinstall the steeple crown atop Christ Church. It's been completely cleaned up & restored by volunteers. We'll have Pollock reopened as soon as the install is complete.
