City of Havelock issued the following announcement on Sep 17.
If you are planning to attend the Air Show, there are two ways you can do so.
1. You can attend for free. In which case, you will need to obtain a Complimentary Vehicle Pass/Ticket from the Air Show website (http://cherrypointairshow.com/) for the day(s) you plan to attend. You will need only one ticket per vehicle, not per person. After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation. This email confirmation will tell you which gate to enter.
2. You can purchase one of our Premium Seating Options from the Air Show website (http://cherrypointairshow.com/). You will receive an email confirmation with your purchase, WHICH WILL SERVE AS YOUR VEHICLE PASS.
On the day(s) of the show, attendees with a Complimentary Vehicle Pass/Ticket will enter via the Cunningham Gate.
Attendees who purchased a Premium Seating Option will enter via the Main Gate, off Roosevelt Road. You must display your confirmation email – either on your phone or a printout – to the guard at the gate to gain entry.
Due to time constraints, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 15, parking passes for those purchasing FLIGHTLINE CLUB CHALET tickets will be held at the Main Gate to pick upon your arrival on the day(s) of the show. To pick up your pass, present your confirmation email to the guards at the Main Gate. You will then be directed to a tent a short distance ahead where you will receive your pass. Once you have received your parking pass, please hang it from your rearview mirror facing out. You will then be directed to the premium parking area. This applies only to those having purchased FLIGHTLINE CLUB CHALET tickets.
