County of Craven issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
Attention Craven County Water Customers West of Vanceboro! Craven County water customers living west of Vanceboro have the potential for experiencing lower than normal water pressure due to a water line being cut across the river at Maple Cypress Road. The potentially lower than normal water pressure is not expected to be significant enough to cause a water safety issue. No boil water advisory is being issued at this time. Follow the Craven County Water Department Facebook page and website for further updates.
