Beaufort County Schools issued the following announcement on Nov. 23.
Lowes of Washington, Lowes Heroes, partnered with BCS to ensure each school has a secure food pantry to store Backpack pals and weekend food for fragile students. #Lowes donated cabinets and labor. Cabinets will be delivered to all schools that requested them by the BCS maintenance department. Bright Futures, local churches, and community partners will keep them full.
