Roanoke Rapids Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 27.
Sergeant Matt Hunsucker was presented his Intermediate Law Enforcement certificate today by Chief Martin. This certificate is awarded to people who have attended a certain amount of training and a combination of years of experience. Sergeant Hunsucker has worked for the city of Roanoke Rapids for almost 8 years now. Please join us in congratulating him.
