City of Havelock issued the following announcement on Feb. 14.
Last week, Havelock Mayor Will Lewis and Havelock City Manager Chris McGee were in Washington, D.C. lobbying various projects on behalf of the City of Havelock. They had the opportunity to meet with Congressman Greg Murphy to discuss the City's population changes, a firefighter grant application for equipment to protect our first responders, an update on the HWY 70 Havelock Bypass Project, along with the potential of a property conveyance of the former Fort Macon Housing area.
