County of Camden issued the following announcement on June 13.
Join us for the 2nd Annual Camden Heritage Festival to be held Oct. 8th, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., at the Camden Community Park, behind the Camden Intermediate School, 123 Noblitt Dr., Camden, NC 27921.
The family oriented heritage festival includes a “Swamp Monster Costume Contest”, 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners with be awarded. Displays will include showing the heritage of Camden County, with farm equipment, tractors, draft horses, blacksmith, wildlife, forestry, spinning/weaving, corn shucking, beekeepers, and much more
There will also be classic cars, food trucks, live stage entertainment and games for children & adults. Admission is free! This event is hosted by the Camden Festival Committee, Inc. and for further information please contact the Camden Festival Hotline at 252-621-3940.
