City of Elizabeth City issued the following announcement on July 11.
Road Closure Notification:
Wednesday, July 13th 8am-12pm
Pitts Chapel Rd from Weeksville Rd. to Peartree Rd.
We were just informed that there will be another closure tomorrow to finish the project from today.
Please plan now to use an alternate route for your morning commute.
