County of Craven issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
Sharing US 70 Improvements James City Traffic Alert issued for Saturday, December 3rd.
Starting Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7 a.m. through 5 p.m., the left lane on U.S. 70 Eastbound and Westbound will be closed between Airport Road and Taberna Way. Contractor crews will be working in the median as part of the U.S. 70 Improvements in James City Project.
This work is weather dependent.
