City of Elizabeth City Police Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
At approximately 1:15 pm on Thursday December 1, 2022 a fire occurred at the Goodwill Store at 502 W. Ehringhaus Street, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
As the Elizabeth City Fire Marshals Office and its partner agencies maintain an active investigation into the cause of the fire, we are asking for the publics assistance in providing any information that may be available.
