Committee to Re-Elect Howard J Hunter III Representative spent the most out of political committees within cities associated with Hertford County during the fourth quarter of 2022.

It spent $13,575 on 47 vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was for Advertisement to Melton Graphics and Design, which is based in the Windsor area.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in a city within Hertford County during the fourth quarter of 2022 came from Committee to Re-Elect Valerie Mitchell Asbell. It spent $1,036 during the time period on one vendor.

What’s known as “dark money”, which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.
