Which political committee based in cities associated with Martin County spent the most during Q4 2022?

Committee to Elect Tim Manning spent the most out of political committees within cities associated with Martin County during the fourth quarter of 2022.

It spent $4,135 on 11 vendors during the time period.

The largest expense was for Advertisement to The Enterprise Business, which is based in the Williamston area.

The second largest political spend from a committee operating in a city within Martin County during the fourth quarter of 2022 came from Martin Republican Party. It spent $146 during the time period on three different vendors.

What’s known as “dark money”, which comes from political non-profits and shell corporations, has greatly increased expenditures and donations in recent elections to record-breaking highs.
