U.S. Representative Greg Murphy (R-NC) has accused President Biden of enabling a national invasion in the face of escalating terrorism threats globally, following the terrorist attacks on Israel on October 7th, 2023. This accusation comes after FBI Director Christopher Wray recently described heightened terror threats in the United States as "blinking lights everywhere."
In a series of statements, Murphy expressed his concerns about the safety of U.S. troops and religious communities. He stated, "Every day, our troops face targeted threats overseas, while religious groups and communities endure persecution in the United States." The congressman further criticized President Biden's handling of these issues, saying, "Biden allowed our nation to be invaded." He added a stern warning: "If an attack occurs, the blood is on his hands."
During a Senate Committee hearing reported by Fox News, FBI Director Christopher Wray gave an alarming assessment of the current situation. He said: "What I would say that is unique about the environment that we're in right now in my career is that while there may have been times over the years where individual threats could have been higher here or there than where they may be right now, I've never seen a time where all the threats or so many of the threats are all elevated, all at exactly the same time."
