There were 1,792 students enrolled in Edenton-Chowan Schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.4% less than the previous year, according to the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.

Edenton-Chowan Schools roughly covers four schools within Chowan County and has a main office in Edenton.
