Theresa Ashley, a neonatal nurse practitioner, has joined the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Washington Regional Medical Center. She is now providing care for newborns who are either born prematurely or are ill.

Washington Regional’s NICU is designated as Level III-A and is part of the Women and Infants Center. It offers the highest level of neonatal care available in Northwest Arkansas and is the largest NICU in the region.

Ashley has worked as a neonatal nurse practitioner since 2016. Before that, she spent 26 years as a registered nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama.
