County of Bertie issued the following announcement on Jul. 28.
Candidate Filing Begins today at NOON for Lewiston-Woodville (municipalities that elect or run by district) and ends at NOON on Friday, August 13th. The filing fee is $5.00. The mayor, Town Council Lewiston District and Town Council Woodville District are seats that will appear on the ballot on November 2, 2021.
