County of Bertie issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.
Bertie County is continuously working towards better preparedness for when disaster strikes. One way we can be proactive in assisting our citizens is identifying the vulnerable populations we serve in our community.
By clicking the link below you can let us know. If you or a loved one lives at home, and requires additional needs during a disaster (ex: use a stretcher, wheel chair, or oxygen), we ask that you take this short 5-minute survey so we can better prepare for disaster events.
The information will help us better communicate with you and coordinate the needed assistance quicker and more efficiently. This information is completely confidential and 100% voluntary.
