Joseph Salyer, a certified physician assistant, has joined the Washington Regional Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Clinic. This clinic is part of the Walker Heart Institute. In his new role, Salyer will provide care to patients both in the clinic and hospital settings.
Salyer's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Missouri State University. He also earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Emory & Henry College in Marion, Virginia. Additionally, he holds a Master of Science in Food Science from the University of Arkansas. Before joining Washington Regional Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Clinic, Salyer worked as a physician assistant at Access Medical Clinic in Fayetteville.
